COMBAT HUMAN TRAFFICKING OF WOMEN AND GIRLS OF THE AFRICAN
DIASPORA, AND PROTECTION OF THE VICTIMS
The Barnes Findley Foundation's objective is to build awareness
of human trafficking of African women and children; consult with governments,
NGOs, private foundations, and partners to design effective ways to combat the
scourge of human trafficking including anti-trafficking advertising programs;
stronger law enforcement programs; build reliable research programs to
substantiate/validate date on trafficking of African women and children in
general, and in particular, its relevance to HIV/AIDS; establish/work with
groups to enhance trafficking victim protection programs.
Programs to protect victims of Human Trafficking are a concurrent part of the
overall anti-trafficking initiative.
